Revisiting the Solow-Swan model of income convergence in the context of coffee producing and re-exporting countries in the world

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the Solow-Swan's proposition that poorer countries grow faster than richer causing declining income disparities across countries. role coffee trade in convergence also analyzed enrich our understanding whether traditional cash export crops, like coffee, contribute significantly convergence. We found that, GDP per capita was growing among producers re-exporters, supporting model. However, values and shares decreased with for green while increasing implying unequal distribution benefits along global value chain.
